FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Gov. Andy Beshear has replaced the Kentucky Parole Board’s chairwoman after a backlash against its recent policy change, which would have given dozens of convicted murderers another chance at potentially cutting short their life-in-prison sentences.
